August Equity LLP (“August Equity”) has today announced the acquisition of three businesses by its funeral services platform, Funeral Services Partnership Limited (“FSP”). The acquisitions of GW Turner, A N Abraham Funeral Directors (“A N Abraham”) and Abbotsfield Funeral Directors (“Abbotsfield”), represent the first in a series of planned acquisitions for the group.
GW Turner is a well respected, Stockport based, funeral services operator servicing the Greater Manchester area which has been family run for over 120 years. A N Abraham is based in South Elmsall, which strengthens FSP’s market position in the Yorkshire area. Abbotsfield, formerly part of the Sterling Group, operates from bases in Hereford, Ledbury and Ross-on-Wye, which represents a new geographical footprint for FSP.
